We had a very exciting day for the foundation today. We presented our scientific data on our hands only CPR instruction program at the national American Heart Association meeting in Orlando, FL. There are 3 major cardiology meetings held each year and this is one of them. It was a great honor for us and Kayla King did a great job presenting our poster presentation.
The AHA has always had a special focus on cardiac resuscitation and has a special section of the national meeting dedicated to resuscitation. The AHA recently updated the guidelines for resuscitation of cardiac arrest victims. “The importance of high quality chest compressions has been reemphasized. For the untrained lay rescuer, the recommendation is for chest compression-only CPR.”
Our foundation is aligned with the AHA and our goal is to teach as many people hands only CPR any way that we can. Our mission is to save the lives of cardiac arrest victims through the education and training of hands only CPR.
The mission continues and will not end. We can do better and we will do better.
