Our media relations intern in January put our foundation in contact with Louisville Magazine. The magazine came out and interviewed me as well as covered one of our hands only CPR classes at a Jefferson County High School. Thank you Louisville Magazine for helping to spread the word on our foundation and it’s efforts to save cardiac arrest victims through education and by teaching hands only CPR.
There was one small mistake in the article. The lady in the inset photo is not Sammie Bell. I have attached a photo of the real Sammie Bell. Sammie was one of 5 CPR interns that worked in Louisville in January of 2015. During this time, she and her other interns taught 2600 students hands only CPR at 22 area high schools.
We are currently booking hands only CPR classes for the summer of 2015. Our classes have no cost and they last 30-40 minutes in duration. If there is a group of 15 or more people we will come to you at your home, business, church, etc., to teach hands only CPR.
