Yesterday, Start the Heart Foundation started teaching hands-only CPR for free in the community. Three University of Louisville premedical students have been taught CPR and will act as our hands-only CPR instructors in the community. STHF will teach 1,100 7th grade students hands only CPR in the next 2 weeks. We will then focus our teaching efforts on the highest risk areas for cardiac arrest in Louisville. The goal of our initial summer program is to teach a minimum of 3,000 citizens hands-only CPR for free.
If you have a group of 20 people, please contact us to schedule a hands-only CPR class.
STHF also picked up another major sponsor in Norton Healthcare. Without our sponsors support and help we would not be able to offer this service to the citizens of Louisville.
