Our foundation has been blessed to work with Janice Morgan since our inception. Janice is the head CPR instructor with Louisville Metro EMS. She has years of CPR instructing in our community. Our CPR instructors undergo a 3 hour lecture on cardiac arrest and hands only CPR by Dr. Dillon. Our instructors then undergo formal traditional CPR certification with Ms. Morgan. Janice has been great to work with and brings common sense to CPR instruction. Her classes are universally enjoyed by all of our interns. During our classes we get asked a number of questions that are covered in a more traditional CPR certification class.
Janice has taught our interns at night and on weekends and never complains. We and our community are very thankful to work with Janice. She has taught all of our 32 interns CPR. Those 32 interns have then gone on to teach over 12,000 people hands only CPR. I think people like Janice Morgan are making a big difference in our community. Thank you Janice for everything that you do.
Tomorrow our January Winter Term program starts with our 7 instructors from DePauw University. They have learned and practiced and now it is time to teach hands only CPR. We start at Iroquois and Seneca high school tomorrow.
