STHF progress

April 30, 2014 by William Dillon

We have selected 3 cardiac arrest interns for this summer’s internship.  All three of the students attend the University of Louisville and are excellent students.  They will begin CPR instruction in the middle of May 2014.  We will then be using these kits to begin teaching hands-only CPR in Jefferson County, KY.  We will begin teaching 7th and 8th graders at Newburg Middle School and Kammerer Middle School.  We hope to teach 1,000 middle school students before the end of the school year.  We will then focus our effort on the highest risk areas for cardiac arrest in Louisville.  It is going to be an exciting summer.
